Phantoms Of The SS was formed to create avant-garde and surrealistic sound structures and experiment with tones, various mixing techniques, drones and other oddities. Each release evolves into it's own entity with more emphasis on sound, mood, atmosphere and structure than trend or genre. Each member of Phantoms Of The SS brings different elements into the creation process.

The "Surrealistic School" EP series was started in August 2011 to release monthly digital only EPs of sound work from the group.

Focusing less on traditional structure and integrating the ideals of surrealism into sound, the monthly EPs will be part of the regular releases from Phantoms Of The SS.
